Interview

- You were a member of the ensemble of the Polish Theatre for over 10 years and you played several great roles. What made you change drama for the lighter muse?

- In my opinion, theatre has become very dated in general. It has become tiresome and unnecessary for me to experience other people`s dramas and rummage around in people`s heart and minds. Also work should be combined with pleasure. Written dramas seem trivial compared with real life dramas. I usually take reality with a pinch of salt, I like to laugh and to have something to laugh at. I`m a restless soul and I`m constantly looking for something new and more interesting.

- Adventures?

- Yes, and maybe Syrena is what I`m looking for.

- Do you sing and dance in Syrena?

- Mostly sing – the ballet dances and I play Mrs Walewska and Messalka in humorous skits. There is a lot of movement on this stage, a lot is going on all the time, we often go away.

- How do you spend your free time?

- I travel, I`ve already visited most of Europe and even the exotic Singapore.

- Are you thinking of any other trips?

- All the time – it`s a great passion of my life.

- What other places would you like to visit?

- First of all Mexico and the chances are that I`ll be going there soon.

- Are you married?

- Yes

- Do you travel on your own?

- With my husband, of course!

- Is your husband also an actor?

- Fortunately not! He is a doctor it`s a great profession.

- Do you like housework?

- I like to be at home, my home is my retreat.

- And cooking?

- I like cooking special dishes. Every day I try to cook something new. I often use cooking recipes brought from abroad of found in the cookery books of Katarzyna Pospieszyńska.

- Your favorite flower?

- Orchid.

- Color?

- Any color as long as it`s black.

- Do you have a favorite dress?

- No, I don`t.

- A costume maybe?

- Yes, a black one, naturally.

- What is your ideal man?

- A man who is impressive in every aspect.

- ???

- - Intelligent, courageous, strong and handsome – preferably dark with blue eyes.

- My boss likes you a lot, unfortunately he doesn`t have dark hair – the rest fits the description.

- … he has a wife.

- Have you met someone perfect?

- Yes, it`s my husband.

- Should men help with housework?

- I love when men can do everything themselves, I mean technical things.

- Do you like animals?

- I love all animals but cats are my favorites, I have two at home.

- Are you superstitious?

- No because you can always "knock unpainted wood"

- What sign are you?

- Aquarius.
